Why We Offer a Scholarship
We believe that educating our community's youth is essential to empowering the people of Ashland, WI to thrive in the technology-driven economy. We aim to alleviate some of the financial burden of attending school by offering a scholarship. We hope this scholarship will spark a discussion about the ways that students can use their education to give back to their community.

We encourage you to apply for our scholarship if you meet the eligibility requirements below.
- You are an Ashland High School student or a high school student in the Ashland School District graduating before Summer 2021; and
- You plan to attend a post-secondary education program that is technology related in Fall 2021
The scholarship application will become available January 15, 2021 and all applications will be due March 31, 2021.
Our Scholarship Selection Committee within Ashland's Technology Future will review all submissions and determine one winner. The winner will be awarded a $500 scholarship. This is a one-time award that will be distributed to the higher education institution that the winner is enrolled in during the Fall 2021 semester.
The Ashland's Technology Future Scholars Network
Recipients of the scholarship will automatically join the Ashland's Technology Future Scholars Network. This network is a group of Ashland alumni and others who are experienced in the technology industry and can provide mentorship to students. While education is crucial to success in the technology industry, a mentor can make a huge difference in success potential for students.
